5 simple steps to discover Malaysia with Homestay

5 simple steps to discover Malaysia with Homestay
1.

Look through the list of official Homestay venues that have been registered with the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia. You can access the directory here. http://www.go2homestay.com/sel/homestay_directory.php

2.

Once you have decided on which Homestay visit for the holidays, contact the person in charge for bookings and availability.

3.

Check for additional information about your chosen Homestay such as attractions and activities during your stay. Please note that many of the Homestay operators speak only in their mother tongue. If you have trouble or unable to speak Bahasa Malaysia, find someone who can assist you.

4.

Each Homestay destination will have their individual rates and packages although they are generally quite standard. Be sure to confirm your traveling plans with the Homestay operator.

5.

Find out what you will need to bring for your trip. For example, flip flops/slippers, hiking shoes, insect repellent, soap ect.
